- Distributed/Federated Social Networks: OStatus - A protocol suite to be used as a base for new distributed social networks.
- Decentralized authentication: OAuth - An open protocol to allow secure API authorization in a simple and standard method from desktop and web applications. We understand that the realization of this project is unrealistic considering the size and resources of the OmPlant team, so the endeavor as a whole has only a creative entertainment purpose for the moment.
But on this topic there are already several endeavors in the world sharing and realizing the vision (see the Related Endeavors section) and our development group has already started to play with real source codes too. The OmPlanet group plans to deliver real solutions at least for one of the 12 dimensions - the Category:Sonar project is our start for the realization of the Travel dimension.
