Open Media Planet (OMPlanet) is a federated multidimensional network ecosystem of free interoperable platforms and their owning members.

On the ICT field this is an effort to create a network ecosystem of interconnected platforms which will belong to its users or their organizations. An ecosystem which will become a decentralized medium for free communication, exchange of social media, independent self-organization and activity planing, sharing of knowledge, services and resources all managed in a federated community based organization that projects the same social concerns as it is off-line.
